Ireland Money Guide is a free, independent guide to credit reports, credit union loans, savings and switching bills in Ireland. It is published by Smart Savings Guides, a small independent editorial team that runs a group of free, plain-English guide sites. We aren't affiliated with the companies we write about unless we say so.

How we research
We start from official and primary sources: Irish official sources: the Central Bank of Ireland and its Central Credit Register, the CCPC, Citizens Information, Revenue, ComReg, the CRU, State Savings and Transport for Ireland, plus the Irish League of Credit Unions' published rates. Each article shows the date it was last reviewed, and articles that rely on official sources list them at the end. Our editorial policy explains how we research, fact-check and update every page.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. Our affiliate partners are OGAds, which powers the optional bonus downloads: the bonus unlocks after you complete a sponsored app, offer or survey, and we earn a commission when you do. Commissions come at no extra cost to you, and they never decide what we recommend: we describe risks, costs and free alternatives either way. See our affiliate disclosure for the details.
What we are not
We're not regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland and don't recommend specific financial products. This is general information, not financial advice. We don't publish fake reviews, star ratings or testimonials, and we don't claim credentials we don't have.
Privacy
This site has no accounts and sets no cookies or advertising scripts. The only form is our optional email list signup. We count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies or fingerprinting. See our privacy policy.
